What is the best breakfast in Hollywood Studios?
This is only the best waffle platter in Walt Disney World, at least IMO. There is nothing I love more than a good Mickey shaped waffle with fruit and whipped cream! The secret waffle platter comes with 3 Mickey shaped waffles stuffed with fresh blueberries! It is also served with strawberries, whipped cream, and syrup. The entire plate is only $9.49, and could be shared. No judgment if you want to eat the whole plate by yourself, I do!
The Mickey waffles are crispy, warm, and complete perfection with the blueberries hidden inside. It is a perfect breakfast for a full day at the park.
Where can I find this secret item?
You can find the home of the waffle platter at Hollywood Scoops Ice Cream, at the end of Sunset Blvd. (near Tower of Terror.) There is never a line with everyone rushing to get on rides or to a character breakfast. This is the only food item available from this stop, but this is all they need! With no wait, and an amazing breakfast, it is a no brainer for our family every trip. We like to rope drop Tower or Terror or Rockin’ Roller Coaster and grab our breakfast right after to just reset from the craziness that is rope dropping in Hollywood Studios.
Seating?
Another huge plus is all the available seating that is hidden just behind Hollywood Scoops. Here you will find a plethora of tables with chairs and umbrellas. The other quick service restaurants in the area will still be closed, so you will have your pick!
Coffee and Morning Cocktails
Hollywood Scoops has more than just the waffle platter, they have your coffee and morning cocktails too! They serve Freshly Brewed Joffrey’s Coffee, which is Disney’s staple coffee brand. They also serve up Mimosas as well as a Bloody Mary! If you are hoping to choose from more Joffrey’s Coffee options, I highly recommend heading just a few steps away to the Joffrey’s coffee stand right at the exit of Hollywood Tower of Terror. I definitely recommend this stand over the very busy Starbucks location in the Trolley Car Cafe. Believe me, that will be a long line for coffee first thing in the morning, and Joffrey’s is a staple!
