Did you know that you can take professional family pictures at Walt Disney World? One incredible extra that you can add onto your vacation is Capture Your Moment. There are options at Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios! We booked a session on our last trip to let you know how our experience went. I definitely recommend having Memory Maker with this option as well.
Disney Capture Your Moment includes:
First, let’s talk about what all is included. Capture Your Moment is the opportunity to book a private Disney photographer for a 20 minute session. The pictures will included some of the most iconic features in the background (Cinderella’s Castle!) These are especially great if you are celebrating a birthday, proposal, or simply family pictures! The photographer will have all the props as well as know where to position you for some amazing shots! The 20 minute time frame is plenty of time to get great shots without spending too much of our park time. Did I mention it is only $79! Photos for a Christmas mini session cost me more than that!
How can you book Capture Your Moments?
Next, let’s talk about who you book this experience. Times will be available 60 days in advance. Many of these will sell out so I highly suggest booking in advance! The Magic Kingdom option seems to be the most popular with the castle, however, Animal Kingdom is not far behind. I will warn you that Hollywood Studios does not include Galaxy’s Edge. You will be charged $79 at the time of booking. If you need to cancel, you will be reimbursed, as long as you cancel before the penalty mark. At this time you can cancel up to 24 hours in advance.
Getting the pictures
So now that you have taken your photos, how do you get them? This is where the Memory Maker comes in. Memory Maker will included all of the Capture Your Moment photographs. This allows you to be able to download, share, or even print out all of these photos! PhotoPass display your photos in about an hour.
A few more things to make note of with Capture Your Moments
- Your session will only be for 20 minutes from the scheduled start time. Arrive early and ready to go!
- The session allows up to 8 people, this does include babies.
- You cannot wear wedding attire to this experience.
- Refunds are not guaranteed for missed appointments or late cancelations . Of course if this is due to some unforeseen circumstance, you could always talk to guest services and explain the situation.
Overall, Disney Capture Your Moments is an amazing experience! Our photographer was so sweet and patient despite our toddler refusing to take pictures. We received some of the most stunning photographs, and one in particular my husband and I absolutely adore! This wonderful extra is one that we will be doing again! I highly recommend it to everyone who purchases Memory Maker.
