Our family’s favorite toddler Christmas craft that is both easy and inexpensive. Life as a mom of young children is busy, and when adding the Christmas festivities, life gets even crazier! This year we made the decision for me to leave my healthcare job to stay home and raise our girls. By no means has this been an easy year. However, I would never trade this time I have gained with them for anything! With that being said, I am constantly looking for activities for the girls while I need to get some work done, especially at Christmas time with so much more on my plate!
Supplies
For this easy toddler Christmas craft you will need craft paper, dot stickers, a marker, and tape. These are all very inexpensive items that are easy to acquire, and serve multiple uses for different crafts. We prefer these dot stickers because they are easier for them to get off the paper, as well as have multiple colors.
Preparation
The first thing you will need to do is cut a larger piece of craft paper. Draw a rough tree design onto the paper. (This does not need to be perfect, and will be covered in stickers in a few moments.)

Next find a spot on a wall or door and tape the tree up. Hand them the stickers and let them go! They will spend hours decorating their own Christmas tree, just keep the dot stickers coming.

More Learning Opportunities
We have also used this same craft idea for practicing patterns, color matching with construction paper, and different lines and shapes to follow. This is a great source to developing hand eye coordination as well as their artistic side.

We can’t wait to hear what you think about this project! Be sure to share your Christmas trees on Social Media and tag us. My daughter loves seeing all the different designs. Have you heard of this mess-free art activity that we also spend hours on?
